What is Rotation Time on the Spiral Review Report and Student Data reports?

For a class, Rotation Time is the median number of days that it takes your students to correctly cycle through all active skills in Spiral Review.

For a student, Rotation Time is the actual number of days it takes the student to correctly cycle through all active skills in Spiral Review.

Ideally, this number should be 15 days or less so that your students are spiraling through all the content every two weeks.

To view Rotation Time for a class:

Choose CLASSES from the blue ribbon.
Choose a class from the left column.
Choose Spiral Review from the middle gray column.
Rotation Time is a metric listed at the top of the report.

To view Rotation Time for individual students:

Choose CLASSES from the blue ribbon.
Choose a class from the left column.
Choose Student Data from the middle gray column.
Click on a student's name to view the in-depth Spiral Review report for the student.

Best Practice: If there are 30 active skills in Spiral Review, students should earn at least 30 points from Spiral Review each week. If there are 45 active skills, students should earn at least 45 Spiral Review points each week to keep rotation time at 15 days or less.
