The Daily Goal includes the points from an assignment and the points expected from Spiral Review. A quick way to set the daily goal is to double the assignment points. If the assignment has 9 points, then the daily goal is set at 18 points. Students should earn at least half their points each day in Spiral Review.

Keep in mind that you know your students and the difficulty level of the skills better than anyone else.

Use the chart below to gauge how many points students could earn in a given time period.

In addition, consider the number of active skills in Spiral Review when setting daily goals. If you have 50 active skills in Spiral Review, then at a minimum, students should earn at least 50 points from Spiral Review every two weeks.
