How do I add students?

Class rostering options

There are several ways to add students to a class.

To use the class enrollment link:

From CLASSES, choose the class.

Click Roster from the middle column.

Copy the Class Enrollment Link to share with the students.

Students using the link are directed to the Welcome Page.

For new students:

New students click GET STARTED.

New students will create their Get More Math account.

New students will log in using the created credentials.

For existing students:

Existing students click on "I already have an account".

Existing students will log in to the class with their username and password.

The student(s) will show on your class roster.

NOTE: After students join the class, teachers should turn off (move slider to gray) the class enrollment link found in Roster or Settings.

Turning off the link does not break the link teachers have shared with students. The link becomes the student login page.

To manually add existing users:

PLEASE NOTE: Teacher screen should be at 100% and at full screen to view all buttons. If Search for Student or Create Student buttons do not show, scroll down or scroll left.

From CLASSES, choose the class.

Click Roster from the middle column.

Choose ADD STUDENTS MANUALLY.

Or, click on the Add Student Icon.

Choose SEARCH FOR STUDENT.

Enter the student's name you wish to add to a class.

Use the Manage Columns button to display more student information.

Locate the student.

Click ADD.

The student(s) will show on your class roster.


​To manually create new students:

From CLASSES, choose the class.

Click Roster from the middle column.

Choose ADD STUDENTS MANUALLY.

Or, click on the Add Student Icon.

Choose CREATE STUDENT.

Enter student information; add additional students, if needed, then click SUBMIT.
​Note--Required fields are First Name and Last Name.

If duplicates are found, the prompt will allow you to return to the Create Students screen or to continue with the creation of the student(s).

Click CONTINUE to confirm the addition of new students.

Click DONE.

The student(s) will show on your class roster.
