Updated over a week ago

In Get More Math, there are two types of practice: assignments and Mixed Review. Mixed Review is the beating heart of Get More Math!

An assignment is brief, focused practice over a new concept.

  • The goal of an assignment is initial understanding of concepts.

  • Assignments serve as an exit ticket.

  • When a student changes the color of a square from red to yellow, the student demonstrates initial understanding of a concept.

Mixed Review is spiral practice over all concepts.

  • The goal of Mixed Review is long-term retention.

  • Mixed Review is spiral practice over all concepts covered.

  • When a student earns Mixed Review points, the student is demonstrating proficiency, accuracy over time.

  • Proficiency is shown by green, silver star, and gold star on a square.
