Updated over 3 months ago

In Get More Math, there are two types of practice: assignments and Spiral Review. Spiral Review is the beating heart of Get More Math!

An assignment includes brief, focused practice over a new targeted concepts.

  • The goal of an assignment is initial understanding of concepts.

  • The targeted skills section serves as an exit ticket.

  • When a student changes the color of a square to yellow, the student demonstrates initial understanding of a concept.

Spiral Review is cumulative practice over all concepts and is included as a part of each assignment. Students may also practice in Spiral Review only.

  • The goal of Spiral Review is long-term retention.

  • Spiral Review is spiral practice over all concepts covered.

  • When a student earns Spiral Review points, the student is demonstrating proficiency, accuracy over time.

  • Proficiency is shown by green or better on a square.
