Start and end each class with success by using Spiral Review.
GMM Best Practice:
โUse Spiral Review as the warm-up.
Using GMM as a warm-up ensures each student has prioritized practice over previously taught concepts. This saves time for teachers as there is no need to create an additional warm-up.
Have students choose Spiral Review from the drop-down if necessary.
By checking Current Status, teachers can view what students are working on. Teachers can turn off all assignments if desired.
After modeling and providing instruction on new content, each newly created assignment has 8 Spiral Review points included and teachers could include more.
While students work on the new assignment, they will complete problems on the newly targeted skills and earn Spiral Review points.
By beginning the class with Spiral Review and ending the class with Spiral Review points in an assignment or in Spiral Review, teachers are using a Spiral Review sandwich.
