Step 1: Prepare Your Supplies

  • Unwrap your sterile syringe

  • Remove the caps on both sides

  • Take off the rubber protective cover from your Semaglutide vial

  • Wipe the top of the vial with an alcohol swab

Step 2: Prepare the Syringe

  • Pull back on the plunger to withdraw the correct units of air (until the black line aligns with your dosage amount)

Step 3: Pressurize the Vial

  • Insert the syringe into the vial and inject the air into it to balance the pressure

Step 4: Draw Your Dose

  • Without removing the syringe, carefully flip the vial upside down

  • Withdraw your prescribed dosage

  • Remove the syringe from the vial

  • Tap the syringe gently to remove any air bubbles

Step 5: Clean the Injection Site

  • Open an alcohol wipe and clean the area

  • Recommended injection sites: stomach fat or upper thigh

  • Rotate injection sites with each dose

Step 6: Administer the Injection

  • Pinch the fat at your injection site

  • Insert the needle at a 45-degree angle

  • Fully inject the medication

Step 7: Aftercare

  • Apply pressure to the injection site

  • Use a bandage if needed

  • Safely dispose of the used syringe
