Step 1: Prepare Your Supplies
Unwrap your sterile syringe
Remove the caps on both sides
Take off the rubber protective cover from your Semaglutide vial
Wipe the top of the vial with an alcohol swab
Step 2: Prepare the Syringe
Pull back on the plunger to withdraw the correct units of air (until the black line aligns with your dosage amount)
Step 3: Pressurize the Vial
Insert the syringe into the vial and inject the air into it to balance the pressure
Step 4: Draw Your Dose
Without removing the syringe, carefully flip the vial upside down
Withdraw your prescribed dosage
Remove the syringe from the vial
Tap the syringe gently to remove any air bubbles
Step 5: Clean the Injection Site
Open an alcohol wipe and clean the area
Recommended injection sites: stomach fat or upper thigh
Rotate injection sites with each dose
Step 6: Administer the Injection
Pinch the fat at your injection site
Insert the needle at a 45-degree angle
Fully inject the medication
Step 7: Aftercare
Apply pressure to the injection site
Use a bandage if needed
Safely dispose of the used syringe
