Requesting a Replacement for a Bits Credit Card
In some cases, due to the card being lost, stolen, or the account being previously cancelled (along with the credit card), a new credit card is needed. Here's how to quickly request a new Bits credit card if yours is no longer in your possession.
If Your Credit Card Was Lost or Stolen
1. Open the Bits App: Log into your Bits account. This will give you access to all your account settings and options.
2. Navigate to Settings: Once you're logged in, go directly to the 'Settings' section from the main menu.
3. Select Credit Card Settings: Within 'Settings,' look for the 'Credit Card Settings' option.
4. Report Lost or Stolen: Here, you will find the 'Report Lost or Stolen' feature. Select this to initiate the replacement process for your credit card.
5. Confirm Your Request: To finalize the process, click 'Yes' to confirm that your card has been either destroyed or lost.
Your request for a replacement card will be processed immediately.
For Reactivated Accounts
In the event that you have recently reactivated a cancelled account and need to issue a new credit card, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Home Page: Upon logging in, start from the Home Page of your Bits App.
2. Tap 'Reorder': You will see a 'Reorder' button on your screen. This is usually prominent and easy to locate.
By tapping 'Reorder,' you're all set. We'll take care of the rest and ensure that your new credit card, complete with all the security features and benefits you expect from Bits, is sent out to you.
Important Security Measures
It’s crucial to destroy your current card if it's still in your possession. This is an important step to maintain your financial security. Cut the card through the chip and across the magnetic stripe to render it unusable.
