Blabla allows you to engage with users interacting with your paid content directly from the Comments inbox. Ad comments can be synced for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
Instagram Ad Comments
Managing Instagram Ad Comments on Blabla is available exclusively on the Pro plan.
Blabla automatically retrieves the 2,500 most recent active Instagram ads per profile. Once an ad is synced, all the comments under it will be available in your Comments inbox.
To ensure nothing is missed, Blabla uses a dual-sync method:
Real-time synchronization via webhooks, which pushes new comments as soon as they’re posted
A fallback API sync every hour, which refreshes comment data in case webhooks fail or are delayed
Facebook Ad Comments
Managing Facebook Ad Comments on Blabla is available exclusively on the Pro plan.
Blabla automatically retrieves the 2,500 most recent active Facebook ads per profile. Once an ad is synced, all the comments under it will appear in your Comments inbox.
To ensure nothing is missed, Blabla uses a dual-sync method:
Real-time synchronization via webhooks, which pushes new comments as soon as they’re posted
A fallback API sync every hour, which refreshes comment data in case webhooks fail or are delayed
You can connect multiple Ad Accounts to your Blabla workspace. Once connected, Blabla will automatically sync comments from all ads that meet these conditions:
The ads are published via one of the connected ad accounts
The ads are linked to a Facebook Page that is also connected to Blabla
This means that only the comments from ads published through the connected Facebook Page will appear in your inbox. If the Page isn’t connected, the ad comments won’t be visible — even if the ad account is.
⚠️ Blabla can only sync comments on ads that are currently in Active status in the ads manager. If an ad is Paused, Blabla will no longer sync comments posted under that ad during the paused period.
Keep in mind that the post itself remains visible on Facebook, and users can still leave comments — but these comments won’t be retrieved by Blabla while the ad is paused.
Once the ad is set back to Active, Blabla will resume syncing and retrieve all comments, including those left while the ad was paused
TikTok Ad Comments
Blabla syncs all comments from TikTok ads — whether the ads are active or not — as long as they are tied to a connected TikTok Business account. TikTok does not mark comments as “ad comments” in the API, so in Blabla, they will appear in your general Comments Inbox alongside organic comments.
Blabla uses a dual-sync method to ensure your inbox is always up to date:
Real-time webhook sync to fetch new comments as soon as they are posted
A fallback API sync every hour to refresh conversations in case webhook data is delayed or missed
Once a TikTok post is boosted, it becomes permanently treated as sponsored content by TikTok. Any new comments left on the post will continue to be synced, but they won’t carry a special “ad” status — they’re handled like any other comment in Blabla.
Due to TikTok's platform policies and API structure, there are a few limitations:
Custom identity ads (ads not published via a TikTok account) are not supported
Comments on ads from influencer profiles that are not linked to your connected business account cannot be synced
In some cases, not all comments are returned by the API due to TikTok's trust and safety policies. Even if the API response includes a
has_more = true
, the actual number of comments fetched may be less than the expectedmax_count
.
These restrictions are platform-side and based on account reputation or comment sensitivity. Blabla fetches everything TikTok allows through its API, but cannot bypass these limits.
Ad Comments Not Showing Up
If everything appears to be correctly set up — your ad accounts are connected, your pages are linked, and your ads are active — but you're still not seeing comments in your inbox, don’t worry. There are a few things you can do to help us investigate:
Copy and share a link to one of your ads with our support team
We’ll run internal checks to ensure the sync is functioning properly and verify if the platform is returning the expected data
