Editing & Completing Maintenance Plan Visits in the Tech App

Follow these steps to update visit details and mark them as complete.

Step-by-Step Instructions


1. Tap on the Maintenance Plan

On the Appointment Details page, scroll down to the "Maintenance Plan" section. Tap on the plan that you'd like to edit a visit for.

2. Edit or Complete a Visit

On the plan details page, scroll to the "Plan Visits" section in the left column. Tap on the "β€’β€’β€’" icon in the top right of the card for the visit you want to edit. Select "Edit" from the select menu.

In the edit modal, update any necessary details such as:

  • Visit Name: give the visit an optional display name such as "Spring Tune-up"

  • Placeholder Date: set a target month for scheduling the visit

  • Linked Equipment: link customer equipment to the visit for equipment tracking and scheduling

To complete a visit, tap on the "Mark Visit as Completed" toggle switch. Once enabled, you'll be able to optionally link the visit to an existing system in the job.

3. Save Changes

Once the desired changes have been made, tap the "Save" button to update the visit. And that's it!
