Before you start:
To set up your display screens, we recommend using any standard TV paired with a Mini PC. You’ll also need a keyboard and mouse for setup. (You can find our Mini PC recommendations [here].)
Step 1:
Connect your Mini PC to the TV and ensure your keyboard and mouse are plugged in. Once everything is connected, open the web browser and navigate to your Carrot Admin site. Log in using your credentials.
Step 2:
From the Carrot Admin dashboard, under the ‘Management’ section select ‘Menu Displays.’
Step 3:
Scroll through the page to locate your desired menu category. If you'd like to display multiple categories on a single screen, choose the Multi-Category Display option—you can include as many categories as you need.
Step 4:
Once you’ve selected your menu category, click the ‘Open Display’ link to launch the menu on your screen. You can hover over the display title to adjust settings like zoom or screen orientation to best fit your display format.
Global Changes
You can modify global settings at the top of the menu displays page
The light mode/dark mode control will change the UI of the menu displays
Uploading a background image will set that image for all menu displays
Menu text size can be used to set the display size for all screens roughly. If some of your menu screens have different sizes, you can use the screen-specific controls
