Carrot lets you pick which areas of your city you accept orders from and set minimum purchase amounts for each zone. To create a zone, please go here, draw the zone you would like to include using their “draw a line” feature, and share the project with dayjia@getcarrot.io. Here is a video walkthrough on how to do it.
Once your zones are set up in the admin, go to settings -> delivery to configure each zone's settings. Zones must be toggled to active (light blue) to configure their settings.
Hours of Operation:
Zones can be configured to have a manual or automatic daily schedule. This is also where you will configure whether the zone accepts same-day, next-day, or both.
Settings:
Minimum Order Value: What is the minimum amount a customer have in their cart to place an order in this zone
Delivery Windows: This must be toggled on if you want customers to choose the delivery hours for their order. An automatic schedule must be active for this to activate.
Fulfilment and Delivery Time Required: If delivery windows are turned on, how many hours does your team need to prepare the order for delivery
Window Size: How many hours can the customer choose to get their order delivered between
EX: 2 hours would be a 12 pm - 2 pm window size. 4 hours would be a 12 pm - 4 pm window size
