How do I translate recipes into other languages?

Follow these directions to translate your meez recipes into another language with using the Safari or Chrome web browsers.

Need to translate your recipes into Spanish or another language? Meez is optimized to take advantage of the built in translation features of any web browser. This article covers Safari and Chrome, which are the two most commonly used by our customers.

How to Translate Your meez Recipes in Safari

If your device is already set up with additional languages, just follow these steps:

  • In Safari, go to the meez recipe you want to translate

  • If you're on a Mac, the address bar will show the Translate button, which looks like this:

  • If you are on an iPad or iPhone, it will look like this:

  • Click the Translate button , then choose a language from the list:

NOTE: If you don't see the translate button, or you don't see the language you want on the list, follow these steps to configure your Apple device with additional languages:

  • Go to Settings β†’ General β†’ Language & Region on your Apple device

  • Select "Other Languages" or click "✚ to add additional languages to your device

How to Translate Your meez Recipes in Chrome

If you're using Google Chrome as your web browser, you can translate your meez recipes by installing the Google Translate Extension. Follow these steps:

  • Go to the Chrome Web Store and search for "Google Translate"

  • Click "Add to Chrome"

  • Once the extension is installed in Chrome, you will see this icon at the top right of your browser window:

  • Go to any meez recipe you'd like to translate, click the Translate icon and then "Translate This Page"

  • A banner will appear at the top of your browser window where you can select the language you'd like to translate to
