If you've missed the opt-out window, you can still stop contributing to your Penfold pension—you'll just need to arrange this directly with your employer.

However, some employers handle the process for stopping pension contributions a little differently, so the exact steps can vary. If you're unsure how it works for your employer, do get in touch. Our friendly customer support team will be happy to help guide you.

When you stop making further contributions, any funds already in your Penfold pot will stay invested for your future. Because the opt-out window has passed, we're not able to refund contributions that have already been made.

If you prefer, you can leave your Penfold pension where it is until retirement, or transfer it to another provider whenever you choose.
