Enrichment is the process of finding a contact’s email address or phone number when you only have their name and LinkedIn profile. GetReplies does this using a waterfall approach — it queries multiple data providers in sequence until it finds a verified result.
How waterfall enrichment works
GetReplies queries up to 19 providers in a defined sequence. If the first provider doesn’t have a verified email for that contact, it moves to the next. It stops as soon as it finds a verified result and charges one credit. If no verified result is found across all providers, no credit is charged.
You are only charged when a verified email is found
If GetReplies queries all 19 providers and cannot find a verified email for a contact, no credit is deducted.
A verified email is one that has been confirmed as active within the last 90 days — meaning an email was sent to it and did not bounce.
Verified vs. guessed email addresses
Not all email addresses found on the internet are reliable. GetReplies distinguishes between:
Verified email. The address has been confirmed deliverable within the last 90 days. This is what GetReplies returns and charges 1 credit for.
Guessed / pattern email. The tool guesses the format based on the person’s name and company domain. GetReplies does not return unverified guesses — these produce bounces and damage your domain score.
Personal email (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.). GetReplies provides corporate email addresses over personal ones for B2B outreach.
How to enrich a contact list
Go to Contacts → Lists and open your list.
Select the contacts you want to enrich (or select all).
Click Enrich → choose Find email ID or Find phone number.
GetReplies runs the waterfall across providers. Results appear in the contact record once found.
Contacts where no email was found show a dash (—). No credit was deducted for these.
| ⚙ Contacts → Enrich — credit cost reference |
1 verified email address | 1 credit |
1 phone number | 3 credits |
No result found | 0 credits charged |
1,000 credits | $35 — purchased separately from subscription |
Credit expiry | Never — unused credits carry over indefinitely |
Providers | Waterfall across up to 19 providers |
Verification standard | Confirmed deliverable within last 90 days |
Phone number enrichment
Phone numbers cost 3 credits each. They are useful when you have a calling step in your campaign sequence and want your team to have direct-dial numbers available as a task.
Phone availability is lower than email availability across most geographies — expect a match rate of 30–50% for most B2B audiences.
When to enrich — and when not to
Enrich when: you’ve built a list from LinkedIn search or post import and need email IDs to run an email or multi-channel campaign.
Don’t enrich when: your CSV already has verified email addresses. You don’t need to spend credits re-enriching data you already have.
Filter your list to your ICP first, then enrich only the relevant contacts. Enriching poorly-targeted contacts wastes credits and adds bounces to your campaign.
