CreatorSuite supports uploading a video from your computer or importing from YouTube.
Choosing a Pipeline
Basic: do the minimum processing to the video. The system will create variable bitrate streams and generate a transcript. This option is the quickest. Choose this option if you want to manually curate moments and the video's thumbnail.
Full (default): in addition to the basic pipeline, CreatorSuite will use its AI to watch the video and automatically identify moments and suggest thumbnails. Choose this option if you want help identifying moments and thumbnails. It can take a few minutes to run the AI, so please be patient!
Uploading a Video
From the video page, click on the Add Video button and select From local disk.
Choose your pipeline
Drag and drop the video or click to select it from your hard drive. We support all standard video formats but recommend a 16:9 1080p video encoded in h264 and AAC audio.
Your video will start uploading, it will then move to the second stage called Processing.
β
βImportant: do not close your browser window until the video switches to Processing. Closing the browser window in Uploading status will cause the upload to fail!
βOnce the Processing stage has completed the status will show as Draft and you can click on the video title or the pen icon on the right side to edit and make moments and publish your video:
β
Top Tip - if you are uploading multiple videos, you can add the next video as soon as the previous one has progressed to Processing.
Importing from YouTube
Note: Videos imported from YouTube cannot be republished to YouTube. The video must be viewable without being logged in to YouTube.
From the video page, click on the Add Video button and select From YouTube
Choose your pipeline
Paste in the video's address and click Upload
The video import will begin. You do not need to remain on the page. CreatorSuite will download the video for you.
