Workspaces: How they work

Workspaces let you manage multiple brands or clients inside one Vamos account — each fully isolated with its own Brand Profile, Memory, and credits.

What a workspace is

A workspace is a completely separate environment within your account. Each one has its own:

  • Brand Profile (About You + Brand Voice)

  • Memory

  • Inspiration page (For You videos based on that workspace's content pillars)

  • Saved content library

  • Chat history

  • Credit and quota allocation (Business plan only)

Think: one Vamos login, multiple isolated brand workspaces inside it.

If you need multiple workspaces, you need the Business plan. Upgrade at Settings → Billing.

Who needs multiple workspaces?

  • Agencies — one workspace per client

  • Freelancers — separate each client's work

  • Multi-brand creators — personal brand + business brand kept apart

Example: a marketing agency with 4 clients would set up 5 workspaces total (1 for the agency itself, 1 per client).

Creating a new workspace (Business plan only)

  1. Click Create New Workspace.

  2. Name it something clear — "Client: Acme Corp" or "Personal Brand".

  3. Done — the workspace is live immediately.

Each new workspace gets its own full Business-plan allotment (6,000 credits/mo, 100 profile analyses/mo). Credits do not share or combine across workspaces.

Switching workspaces

Click your name in the bottom-left corner → Switch Workspace → pick from the list.

The entire interface reloads with that workspace's data: different Brand Profile, different Inspiration feed, different Saved content, different credits, different history.

Nothing is shared between workspaces. That's the point.

Best practices

Naming

Use clear, descriptive names.

Good:

  • "Client: Acme Corp"

  • "Personal Brand"

  • "Newsletter Brand"

Bad:

  • "Workspace 1"

  • "Test"

  • "New Project"

Setup checklist per workspace

For best results on any new workspace:

  1. Complete the Brand Profile (aim for 70%+ completion)

  2. Add Content Pillars so Inspiration feeds the right videos

  3. Upload Brand Voice samples

  4. Let Memory accumulate naturally as you use the workspace

Team invites

A proper team invite system is on the roadmap — we're actively building it. For now, if multiple people need Vamos access for the same client work, options are:

  • Share a Business-plan login — works but all users share the same workspaces (not ideal for teams).

  • Wait for team invites to ship — if this is a blocker, reply to this article and we'll keep you in the loop.

Moving content between workspaces

There's no built-in transfer tool right now. If you need to move saved content from one workspace to another:

  1. Open the Saved item in the source workspace.

  2. Copy the content.

  3. Switch to the destination workspace.

  4. Paste into chat and save again.

If you're migrating a lot of content and this is painful, email contact@getvamos.ai — we can sometimes help move things server-side.

Switching plans and workspaces

  • Pro → Business: your existing workspace remains. You can create up to 4 more.

  • Business → Pro: you keep one workspace, lose access to the others (content stays in place but locked). Move any essential content before downgrading.

Which workspace should I use for what?

  • Agency work → one workspace per client, so brand voice, memory, and content don't cross-contaminate.

  • Multiple personal brands → one workspace per brand. Keep your fitness brand's voice separate from your SaaS brand's voice.

  • Experimental / testing → use a dedicated "Sandbox" workspace so you don't pollute your main Memory or Brand Profile with test inputs.
