How the Template Library works

The Template Library is a curated set of pre-built prompts for the most common content tasks — scripts, ads, hooks, research. Click one, fill in the blanks, run.

Where to find it

Or click the template icon in the chat input on any new chat.

What's in the library

The library covers the workflows most users run on repeat:

  • Viral research + script generation — analyze competitors, find patterns, write scripts

  • Batch content creation — generate a month of scripts/posts in one prompt

  • Trend hunting — surface trending videos in your niche and adapt them

  • Hook generation — batch of proven hook frameworks in your voice

  • Ad copy — platform-optimized ad variations for testing

  • Comments analysis — what your audience (or a competitor's audience) is actually saying

  • Profile analysis — deep-dive any competitor's content strategy

Each template has placeholders like [your niche] or [competitor handle] that you fill in before running.

How to use a template

  1. Open the Template Library.

  2. Browse or search for a template that fits your task.

  3. Click it — the prompt loads into the chat input.

  4. Replace the placeholders with your details.

  5. Hit send.

Vamos runs it like any other prompt. You get the same Canvas output, same research flow, same Brand Voice auto-loading.

When to use a template vs. your own prompt

Use a template when:

  • You're new and want a starting point.

  • You're doing a task you rarely do (e.g., first time writing Facebook ads).

  • You want the "proven way" without overthinking the prompt.

Write your own prompt when:

  • You know exactly what you want.

  • Your task is specific in a way no template covers.

  • You want to chain something custom (e.g., "research → write → adapt to 3 platforms").

Either way works. Templates just save you from the blank page.

Saving your own templates

Built-in templates are curated by the Vamos team. Custom template saving is on the roadmap.

For now: if you have a prompt you run every week, save it in Memory instead. Tell Vamos "Save to memory: my go-to script prompt is [prompt]" and reference it later with "use my go-to script prompt for [topic]."
