Updated today

βš™οΈ Step 1 β€” Create a Zendesk Sunshine integration

  1. Log in to your Zendesk account.

  2. Open the Administrator settings.

  3. Go to :
Apps and integrations β†’ Conversations integrations β†’ Create integration

  4. Name your integration and insert the webhook indicated on the page. https://app.getwax.io/settings/integrations/zendesk_sunshine

  5. Don't forget to check the boxes shown in the image below.

  6. After saving, enter the fields provided by Zendesk into Wax.

πŸ”‘ Step 2 β€” Create an integration API key for Wax (Sunshine)

  1. On the same Zendesk page from the previous step, after saving, at the top of the page you will see API Keys, which will allow you to create one.

  2. A modal will then appear with three fields to copy to Wax.

πŸ”‘ Step 3 β€” Create a classic Zendesk API key

In addition to the Sunshine key, you must also create a Zendesk Support (Classic) API key, which Wax uses to interact with your tickets.

  1. Go to Zendesk settings:

Admin Center β†’ Apps and integrations β†’ API tokens

  2. Click Add API token.

  3. Name it, for example:

    WAX x Zendesk Sunshine

  4. Copy this key and note it down in Wax.

πŸŽ‰ That's it!

Once these steps are complete:

  • Your Zendesk Sunshine ↔ Wax integration is configured.

  • Wax can now create and update your tickets!
