Setting up the RCS

From your WAX dashboard, go to Settings > RCS Settings (URL not yet available) and start filling in the first part of the form.

  • Company name

  • Agent purpose: Describe what this RCS agent will be used for. This helps with the verification process.

  • Professional email

  • Professional phone number

  • Test phone number: This number will receive test messages during the verification process.

Step 1: Brand identity

  • Display name: Your official company name, as it will appear at the top of the chat window on your customer's side.

  • Description: A short overview of what your agent does. This will be visible in the "About" section of your business profile.

  • Banner image: The large header visual displayed at the top of your profile. Accepted formats: PNG, JPEG or JPG (1440x448 px), max. 200 KB.

  • Logo: Your brand icon, displayed next to every message you send. Accepted formats: PNG, JPEG or JPG (224x224 px), max. 50 KB.

  • Brand color: Enter the hex code of your primary color (e.g. #292823). It will be applied to buttons and UI elements. WAX automatically checks whether the contrast ratio is sufficient for readability.

Step 2: Contact information

RCS requires verified contact details and links to your legal documents — a compliance requirement, and a strong trust signal for your customers.

  • Phone number: Enter your main business number in E.164 format (e.g. +33612345678). No spaces or special characters.

  • Email: Provide a support or contact email address.

  • Website: Enter your brand's website URL.

Step 3: Legal information

  • Required links: You must provide valid https:// URLs for your Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

    • Pro tip: make sure there are no leading or trailing spaces in these fields — it's one of the most common causes of validation errors.

Step 4: Submission & activation

Once all fields are filled in, click "Submit".

  • Our provider will review your application within 10 business days.

  • If your agent is approved, you'll be all set to create and send your first RCS messages!

  • If not, you'll need to resubmit the form based on the feedback provided.
