Creating a Zap
Log in to Zapier
Click Create a Zap on your dashboard
Search, select, and configure your trigger app
This is the app that connects with Giftbit to automate the action of sending rewards.
Example: If you use SurveyMonkey, this will be your trigger app
Search for Giftbit to configure your action
Select Send Reward from the Event drop-down
Select Continue and sign in to your Giftbit account.
Complete the on-screen fields
Reward Template: Select the template that was created in your Giftbit account
This was completed in Automations: Step 1 - Zapier Integration
Contact Email: This is pulled from the trigger app
Contact First Name: This is pulled from the trigger app
Giftbit Recommends: This data is optional. However, it's recommended to include your recipient's first name for a personalized gift card offer.
Reward Limit: Impose limits on your zap.
When you provide a contact email, this will trigger a Giftbit reward once. However, restricting any one parameter may not guard against abuse effectively.
Consider your security requirements and the information available from your trigger app carefully.
Test your integration by selecting Test & Continue
If your test is successful, you will receive a success message & the option to turn your zap on
