The Visa Incentive card is extremely flexible but there are times where the card may not work. Here is a list of the most common reasons why your card may not be working.

Billing Address or Name is Incorrect

The billing address and name on the card will be the exact same information that you entered when claiming the card initially. Make sure that information matches up and the card will process.

Card Keeps Declining

There are three main reasons why you card will decline when attempting a purchase

  1. The transaction is more than the balance on the card

    • If the transaction is more than the balance remaining, the card will decline due to insufficient funds.

    • Online payment providers do not offer a way to do payment splitting and pay with two separate cards.

    • Make sure your transaction is at or under your balance and you will be good to go.

  2. The company is based outside of the US

    • The Visa Incentive card is only able to be used inside the US on for companies based in the US.

    • This means the card cannot be used in Canada, Europe or Asia at this time.

  3. Card has Expired

    • With the Visa Incentive card being usable as a credit card, it is subject to an expiry date.

    • The expiry date is final so make sure to keep tabs and use the card before it expires.

Why can't I add it to my Virtual Wallet or Withdraw from an ATM (Physical)?

  • Virtual Visa's are designed for online shopping use and cannot be used in person. This includes being added to virtual wallets.

  • The Physical Visa cannot be used to withdraw cash from an ATM, or receive cash back.
