Downloading Data from Your Account to Your Computer

You can download data from your account in several ways, via the Desktop application, the Syncfolder, or the Website.

Updated this week

βœ… We recommend using the Desktop application when downloading large amounts of data, as it provides better speed, stability, and control than a browser.

Download Using the Desktop Application

When using the desktop app, you have access to three main sections:

  • Backup

  • Sync

  • Archive

How to download files through the Desktop application:

  1. Open the Desktop application.

  2. Navigate to the Backup, Sync, or Archive section, depending on where your files are stored.

  3. In the Backup section, you can:

    • Browse current backup folders.

    • Click the "All your backups" button to access and download files from previous devices.

  4. Select the files or folders you wish to download and click the download icon.

  5. The application calculates the total data size and the number of files.

  6. Choose the destination folder on your computer.

  7. Click "Download" to begin the process.

Download via the Website

  1. Go to the website and log in with your username and password.

  2. Navigate to the section where your data is located:

    • Synced

    • Backups

    • Archive

    • Shared

    • Trash

  3. Select the files or folders you want to download.

  4. Click the "Download" button in the top right corner.

πŸ’‘ Note: Web browsers may behave differently when downloading. Some will save all files to your Downloads folder, while others may prompt you to choose a location.
