If you've noticed your Pre-Conception & Pregnancy Blend capsules developing dark spots, a deeper colour or a stronger smell than when you first opened the tub, there's no need to worry.
The colour change is a natural result of the high Choline content in the blend. Choline is known to cause cosmetic changes to capsules over time including discolouration, dark spots and a slightly stronger odour. These changes are purely cosmetic and do not affect the quality, potency, or effectiveness of any nutrient inside - your capsules are completely safe to continue taking.
To keep your capsules in the best condition:
Store in a cool, dry place
Keep away from heat sources such as kettles, ovens, or direct sunlight
Always replace the lid securely after use
We will be including a desiccant in all new tubs to help absorb moisture and reduce colour changes. If your current tub doesn't include one, your capsules are still completely safe and you'll see the desiccant included in future orders.
