As a contractor on GigSafe, you have flexibility on how you get paid. During the onboarding process, you can select between 2 primary payment method options.
Standard ACH — No Fee: Input your bank account information and get paid via standard ACH. Money arrives within 24 business hours from the time it is processed, excluding holidays. No processing fee.
Accelerated Deposit — 1.2% Processing Fee: Attach a compatible debit card and get paid via accelerated direct-to-debit. Money typically arrives a day early. An additional 1.2% processing fee may be deducted from your payout.
Frequently Asked Questions
When will I get paid?
Companies have different payment schedules. Some pay weekly, others pay daily. The company that provides you opportunities will directly provide more information about when to expect payments for work completed.
Once payment has been submitted by the company you contract with, funds will arrive in your bank account based on the payout method you selected.
Standard ACH arrives within 24 business hours from the time it is processed, excluding holidays.
Accelerated Deposit typically arrives a day early. In some cases, timing may vary depending on your bank.
When will I receive a payment receipt?
Payment receipts are provided via email and within the contractor dashboard.
These will be sent out and available to view on your dashboard when the funds reach your account on file, not before.
Keep in mind that your bank may delay the time it takes for the funds to be available for you to use.
What cards are compatible with Accelerated Deposit?
Most modern debit cards are compatible with Accelerated Deposit. However, in some cases your bank and its corresponding debit card system may not support this option.
Does GigSafe charge fees for Accelerated Deposit?
Yes, Accelerated Deposit may carry a 1.2% processing fee, which is deducted from your payout. This will be clearly itemized in your payment invoice. Standard ACH has no processing fee.
How do I change my payout method?
You can now view your current payment method and update your payout method at the following link:
Steps:
Visit link and Sign in.
Tap “Payment Method" (View and Change).
You’ll see your current payment method on file.
IF you need to change it, tap “Update Payment Method.”
Important:
You can only update your debit card up to 3 times in 30 days.
If you go over the limit, you’ll see an error and be locked out of using a debit card for 30 days.
During that time, you’ll need to set up a bank account for ACH transfers instead.
You can not update your payout method if you already have a payment in progress.
