Vehicle Information

The information you put in these fields should be the exact information that matches the proof of insurance you will upload below the fields.

How do I upload?

After filling out the short for of your vehicle details, scroll down to upload insurance then tap/click where it says tap to upload.

Files We Accept are the following 10MB or less:

  • PNG

  • JPG

  • PDF

What is Approved Proof of Personal Vehicle Insurance?

Digital or Physical Insurance Card: We accept digital or physical copies of insurance cards provided by your insurance company. Take a photo during onboarding or upload the file.

Please ensure the following when submitting your insurance documentation:

  • Your name must be listed as the insured party.

  • Issuance and expiration dates must be clearly visible.

  • The vehicle listed must match the one on file.

  • The document must be clear and legible.

  • Policy Number Shown.

Insurance Declarations Page PDF: This document contains detailed information about your policy, including coverages, limits, and policyholder details. It’s often used as a backup to the insurance card if additional details are needed.

  • You can download the declarations PDF file from your insurance provider's website or app.

  • If you are unable to download, please contact your personal insurance provider directly so the can email it to you.

When uploading a Declarations PDF, please ensure it is the entire file as we currently do not accept multiple file uploads.

Verification Directly from Insurance Provider: In some cases, if you are unable to obtain a Insurance Card or Declarations PDF file. You can request verification directly from your insurance provider.

What if I use a rental?

Proof of insurance must include the following information:

- Your name as insured

- Vehicle Information

- Policy start and expiration dates

- Policy Number

We are unable to accept less than these requirements.

We suggest reaching out to the rental company so they can provide you with this proof. Keep in mind that some rental companies may not allow the use of their vehicle for specific commercial purposes.


Proof of insurance we can not accept would be documents not clearly visible or missing any of the following:

  • Your name must be listed as the insured party.

  • Issuance and expiration dates.

  • The vehicle listed must match the one on file.

  • Policy Number Shown.

  • Expired documents.

How to update my proof of personal vehicle insurance?

  • Reach out to your dispatcher for the company you onboarded with through GigSafe for them to submit the file for recollection and provide you the appropriate link.

  • Reach out to GigSafe directly for assistance.
