How to update your name, contact details, professional info and profile picture in Giig

Your profile is how you show up across Giig, here's how to keep it current.

Hey! Luke here, founder of Giig 👋

Takes two minutes to sort, and it's worth doing properly. Your name, photo and job title show up all over the platform, so this isn't just admin, it's how your team and your candidates see you.

Finding your profile settings

  1. Click the settings (gear) icon, top right of the platform

  2. Select Personal Settings

Updating your personal information

Under the Personal Information tab, you'll see the Update Personal Information section:

  1. Update your First Name and Last Name

  2. Update your Email Address

  3. Add your LinkedIn Address

  4. Hit Update Personal Details to save

Updating your professional information

Just below that sits Update Professional Information, this is where you add a bit more context on how you work:

  1. Add your Job Title

  2. Set your Location and Contact Number

  3. Fill in About You And Your Experience, a bit of background never hurts

  4. Hit Update Details to save

Adding a profile picture

  1. Scroll down to Update Profile Picture

  2. Drag and drop a photo, or click to browse

  3. Hit Update Profile Picture to save

💡 Pro tip: keep this one current. Your name, photo and job title show up wherever you're logged as the point of contact, so an out of date profile makes you look like you've not touched the account in months.
