Five minutes here saves you changing the same dropdown a hundred times later.
Hey! Luke here, founder of Giig š
Company Settings is where you tell Giig who you are and how you like to work. Your agency name and logo, plus the defaults that get pre-filled every time you add a job or open a database. Not glamorous, but get it right once and you'll never think about it again.
Finding your company settings
Click the settings (gear) icon, top right of the platform
Select Company Settings
Adding your agency name and logo
At the top you'll see the Company Information section:
Drag and drop your logo into the Change Company Logo box, or click it to browse
Type your agency name into Company Name
Hit Save
Setting your defaults
Scroll down to Default Settings. These are the values Giig uses unless you tell it otherwise:
Default Timezone, pick the one your team works in
Default Date Format, choose between 1st Jan 2026 style, MM/DD/YYYY or DD/MM/YYYY
Default Industry, the sector you recruit in most
Default Currency, used for salaries, rates and fees
Default Job Type, Permanent or Contract, whichever you post most
Default Table Results, how many rows show per page in your Candidate, Company and Contact databases (10 up to 250)
Contracts, bulk email and sales tracking
Further down are the settings for contract recruiters and a couple of bits everyone should check:
Invoice Factoring Fee, the percentage your factoring provider takes, if you use one
Move Contracts To 'Ending Soon' In X Days and Move Booking To 'Ending Soon' In X Days, how much warning you get before a contract or booking ends
Remove Contracts From Pipeline After X Days, how long finished contracts hang around in your pipeline
Bulk Email Sending Delay, the gap between each email in a bulk send (1 to 60 seconds)
Sales Activity Tracking, whether a placement counts on the Hired Date or the Start Date
Hit Save Settings
š” Pro tip: there are two save buttons on this page. Save only covers your name and logo, Save Settings covers everything in Default Settings. Change something in both and you'll need to hit both. Ask me how I know.
š” Pro tip: don't rush the bulk email delay. A longer gap makes your emails look like they came from a human, which helps them land in inboxes rather than spam.
