How to use Search, Filter, and Group-by to find content in the v6 Content Library — three separate, coexisting controls.

Written by Holly Conrad Smith

Find the right zoning layer, usage set, or massing flow fast, even in a large workspace. The Content Library has three tools for finding content: Search, Filter, and Group by. Use them alone or together.

Search for content

Type in the search box to find content by name, description, search terms, and tags.

Filter results

Open the Filter menu to narrow results by tag or by who created the content. Filters reset when you switch tabs or content types.

Filter by content type

Choose a type from the Content Type list to show only that kind of content. Each tab shows its own set of types.

Filter by Tag or Workspace

Click a tag on any listing to show only content with that tag.

Filter layers by map location

On the Marketplace tab, choose Layers and turn on Filter by map location to show only layers that cover your current map view.

Group results

Use Group by on the Workspace and Marketplace tabs to sort results into sections. Group by one of these:

  • Category

  • Workspace

  • Tags

  • Units

Switch views

With one content type selected, switch between Grid view and Table view. Widen the panel to use the table view.
