Creating a Giving Profile
You will receive an email with the subject line “Welcome! Our platform empowers you to engage in charitable giving"
Click Get Started to launch the Set Password window. Ensure your password meets all the requirements and check the "I agree to the platform Terms and Conditions and theTIFIN Give DAF Program Guidelines."
Next confirm your birthdate and zip-code.
Once you've set your password, you'll be redirected to the login page. Use the new password you just created to sign in.
The first screen you’ll see is titled “What causes do you want to support?”
Here, you can select the causes that matter most to you. This helps the platform tailor recommendations and suggest charities aligned with your interests. And click "Looks good"
Enter your Donor-Advisor Fund account details:
Select a Custodian (Schwab or Fidelity)
Create a name for your DAF
Enter your First & Last Name, Email, Phone, & Full Address
Congrats! Upon clicking Create DAF you are all set up with your TIFIN Give DAF!
Editing Personal Information
To edit or update your personal information, such as your name, mailing address, picture or phone number click on the person icon in the bottom left corner:
2. Here you will be able to upload/edit a photo, edit your first/last name, or update your phone number
Updating a Client's Email Address
Follow the steps below to update a client's email address. Please note that updating an email address can only be completed by an advisor.
On the advisor dashboard page click on Manage Clients and click Edit:
Update the email address to the correct one and click Save Changes
The client will receive an email to the new email address and will be asked to confirm these changes.
