Is it possible to create a new recurring payments schedule but not start charges until the next month?

Unfortunately, the donor does not have the capability to choose when the charges will begin, but you can manage the payment schedule in the 'Donation Levels' tab.

From there, you can edit the 'Payment Settings' section and choose when specifically these will start for your donors.
