Browser Support Update:

Internet Explorer 9 & 10 End Of Support Announcement

As of August 2017, all GiveGab Enterprise software applications (Platform and Giving Day Event Manager), and donor facing forms and widgets, will no longer officially support Internet Explorer 9 or 10.  We will continue to support Internet Explorer 11.

Why are we removing support?

Microsoft officially ended support for these versions of IE years ago, with formal discontinuation on January 12, 2016: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/WindowsForBusiness/End-of-IE-support

Since Microsoft no longer provides security updates or technical support for older versions of Internet Explorer, GiveGab Enterprise can no longer formally support their usage.

As we are not intentionally developing to exclude Internet Explorer 9 & 10 support, our existing forms and widgets may continue to function on Internet Explorer 9 & 10, however we will no longer officially support issues reported with those browsers.

GiveGab is committed to providing the best possible experience for our customers and their donors -- no matter how fancy their computer might be. However, with ever increasing online security threats that can expose donor data and credit card information, we no longer can support browser versions that are out of support and no longer receiving the benefit of security updates by the vendor.

For the best user experience with GiveGab Enterprise applications, we recommend your team use Chrome, Firefox or Safari browsers. For your donors, we recommend adding user friendly messaging to your website which informs them to upgrade to Internet Explorer 11, or if that is not possible, use Chrome or Firefox with your website. This is as much for their protection as it is yours.
