Here are the basic steps on how to create a new Payment Schedule Upgrade Widget to implement on your website:
1. Click on the 'Organization' Tab:
2. Click on the 'Widgets' section within the 'Organization' tab:
3. There is a section here for the Payment Schedule Upgrade Widget. To create this widget, click "+ ADD" for that section:
4. Name your new widget and click save:
5. Your newly created widget will appear within the section. To edit the widget details, click on the name of the widget:
6. There are a few sections you can edit with this widget. The first section is the 'Widget Details':
Here you can update the name of the widget and the 'Maximum Allowable Change'. The 'Maximum Allowable Change' is the maximum percentage increase allowed; this is a safety feature that will prevent the donor's plans from increasing a large amount:
7. After editing the 'Widget Details', update the 'Widget Text':
This is the text that will appear for your donors. You can update the 'Header', the 'Description', and the 'Submit Button Label':
Here is an example of the text you can add:
8. After editing the 'Widget Text', update your 'Confirmation Text':
The top section is for the on-screen messaging that will appear once the donor has successfully upgraded their plan. The bottom section is the confirmation email that notifies the donor that their plan was changed.
9. After editing the 'Confirmation Text', there is one last section for you to update, the 'Error Text':
This messaging is for if a plan cannot be upgraded or there was an error with upgrading their plan:
10. After updating all of the sections for your Upgrade Widget, click on 'Widgets' to return to your list of widgets:
11. In order to embed the widget on your site, you will utilize the embeddable snippet code. Click on the brackets underneath "Snippet" to get the code:
