Calendar invites for events typically have a link that are specific to the platform you use (Google Calendar, Outlook, iCal, etc.), so just adding the link into the confirmation email that is sent out to registrants will only allow those who use the same calendar platform to add it to their calendar.
There are specific event invite files that could possibly be generated by the calendar platform you use that do allow anyone to add the event to their calendar; these are called .ics files. For example, Google Calendar has the .ics file is at the very end of the email that is sent out to the attendees for that specific event:
However, within the Enterprise platform you cannot upload files, so there is not a way to directly add the event-specific .ics file to the confirmation message that goes out to registrants.
However, a workaround that could potentially work is hosting the .ics file, and then creating a unique link or url that references the hosted file that registrants could access and add to their calendars.
The other methods of achieving this goal are as follows:
Add messaging to the confirmation email to remind your registrants to add the event to their calendars
Send reminders of the events to those on your registrant list OR
Your team could create a calendar invite for the event and send the invite to those on your registrant list.
