We have added new features to our Advanced Email Branding Template, which will allow you to customize the emails received by your donors/registrants even more!
Within the Email Branding section either within the main Organization tab or within a specific campaign, you will see additional options within the Advanced Email Template configuration menu when editing your branding:
Include Form Answers
Include Form Answers is defaulted to "Yes." This is asking if your organization would like to include all of the answers to the questions asked on your forms outside of the billing information within the confirmation email.
When set to "Yes," the donor/registrant will receive a confirmation email with all of the answer values they provided for each form question during submission:
When set to "No," the donor/registrant will receive a confirmation email with only the basic financial information for their transaction:
Include Recipient Name
Include Recipient Name is also defaulted to "Yes." The Recipient Name is the name that is above the body content of the email:
When set to "No," the name will no longer appear:
This allows you to use Response Tags in order to customize the content for your emails. For example, I can edit the body content of my confirmation email to include the {{FirstName}} response tag to make my thank you messaging more personal:
Transaction Summary Label
We understand the need for flexible language when referring to donations. Rather than using the default of "Transaction Summary," which can make the gift seem impersonal or just like a typical charge on their credit card, you can update that language!
For example, I can enter in "Gift Summary" as the Transaction Summary Label:
Which will populate that language instead of "Transaction Summary":
All of these features of the Advanced Template allow your team to create customized language that is more personal and reflects your donors' contributions better in confirmation emails.
