Refund Policy
GiveGab does not allow for refunds of donations except in extenuating circumstances. GiveGab does not allow for partial refunds of donations. All refund requests must be requested within 4 business days of the donation being made. Giving Day registration payments can be refunded within 4 business days of original payment. Refund requests made after 4 business days must be handled outside of the GiveGab platform between the organization and the donor, or partner and non-profit. Note: Alteration of an organization or partner’s payout schedule may void GiveGab’s ability to process refunds.
Refund Process
To request a refund, the admin of the organization or Giving Day partner must submit their request through this form. Refunds will only be processed if the request is received within 4 business days of the donation being made. This is to ensure that the organization has a sufficient balance in their Stripe account, as donations payout on the 5th day.

Examples of extenuating circumstances that would result in an approved refund request:
A duplicate gift was made due to a platform error*
The gift was made to the wrong organization and this was confirmed by the admin of the organization.
*Note: This is the only scenario where a refund request from a donor would be approved. All other refund requests will only be considered if approved by the administrator of the organization.
Examples of why a refund request would be denied:
The admin made a test donation.
The donor changed their mind.

Q. Who can request a refund?
All refund requests must be submitted by an administrator of the organization on GiveGab or Giving Day partner (if applicable). Refund requests coming directly from the donor will not be considered.

Yes. We can refund Giving Day registration payments if the request meets the following criteria:
A refund request is submitted by the Giving Day partner.
The request is made within 4 business days.
Refund requests made outside of the 4 business day window will not be approved and must be handled outside of GiveGab’s platform between the partner and the organization.
Q. Can test donations be refunded?
As part of the testing process, project managers and partners may make test donations prior to donations opening. These test donations can be refunded — please connect with your project manager.
