A campaign is the umbrella term for everything you set up in GivePanel for your Virtual Event or DIY Fundraising Campaign.
When creating a campaign, you’ll be guided through setting up your registration form, fundraiser creation link, and email journey (if you have the BETA email tool enabled in your account).
To set up a campaign:
Go to Campaigns in the main navigation bar at the top of your account.
Select Campaigns again from the dropdown.
Click New Campaign and follow the onscreen instructions.
Depending on your GivePanel subscription, there are currently four campaign types available:
Virtual Event
Perfect for when you’re running a Virtual Challenge or time bound virtual event.
You can set up the campaign (which becomes the event name applied to fundraiser records), create an Event Registration Form with 1-Click setup so supporters can register and create their fundraiser in a few clicks, and set up automated email journeys to engage participants.
DIY
Ideal for year round fundraising where supporters want to take part in their own way, from bake sales and marathons to birthday fundraisers.
With a DIY campaign, you can create an always on registration form that allows supporters to register and instantly create a fundraiser on Facebook or JustGiving, all while keeping their data connected in GivePanel.
You can also set up tailored email journeys to welcome, motivate, and celebrate supporters at key moments based on their activity (for example, registration, event date, or amount raised).
Non GivePanel
Record off-GivePanel campaigns or events and attribute them with additional data. Use this to steward these fundraisers, manage reporting, and track activity even if it didn’t originate from GivePanel.
