GKIDS School Administrators: Adding Students to Teacher Accounts

School Admins and Teachers Can Acquire Students.

For security reasons, we cannot show the entire school listing of students to a teacher to choose from. However, school administrators will see students assigned to their school by clicking on the Active and Not Acquired buttons.

Teachers will need to have the list of GTIDs for the students in their class in order to search and acquire.  The students are not assigned to a teacher in any way via the roster import.

Here are the steps School Admins can follow to help their teachers:

To quickly acquire students to place in teachers' accounts, the school administrators will : 

  1. Click Teachers from the left menu

  2. Click on the desired teachers name

  3. Click the green Add or Acquire button and enter the GTID number OR

  4. Select a student for the teacher and click the acquire button to the right of each student's name.

Teachers can also acquire students by entering individual GTID numbers.
