Wired Connection for GoPro

Hero 10/11 Black:

  1. Start with the GoPro unplugged from the USB-C

  2. Swipe down on the touch display, then swipe left

  3. Tap [Preferences]

  4. Tap [Wireless Connections]

  5. Set [Wireless Connections] to ON

  6. Tap [Connect Device]

  7. Tap [GoPro Quik App]

  8. Install/Open the GoPro Quik App on the iPhone

  9. Navigate to the [GoPro] Tab

  10. Tap [Connect a GoPro]

  11. Tap [Connect]

  12. Tap [Pair] when prompted

  13. Name your GoPro or leave as default

  14. Tap [Skip] if prompted to update (*update as needed and not rushed for time)

  15. Tap [I’ll do this later] when prompted for cloud upload

  16. Tap [No thanks]

  17. Tap [Let’s Go]

  18. Close the GoPro Quik app

  19. Plug the USB-C cable into the GoPro and iPhone/iPad (Ensuring all connection points are securely connected on the Glambot® as well)

  20. The Screen on the GoPro should display [USB Connected]

  21. Open Snappic and select your event

  22. Scroll down and tap [Select Accessories] then select [Volume Buttons] and tap [Done]

  23. Tap [Configure Camera] then [Search for GoPro Camera]

  24. Confirm the connection shows [Wired] and select your GoPro camera

  25. Tap [Start Photo Booth]

  26. Configure Video and Slowmo settings, then tap [Start Booth]

  27. Tap [Video] and then select the time edit that best matches your desired Glambot® path

  28. On the Glambot motion control web app, navigate to the advanced settings tab and confirm the connection type is set to [USB]

  29. You are now ready to begin wired recording with your Glambot® and GoPro

Hero 12/13 Black:

  1. Start with the GoPro unplugged from the USB-C

  2. Swipe down on the touch display, then swipe left

  3. Tap [Pair Device]

  4. If [Wireless Connections] is off, tap [Turn On] when prompted, then tap [Pair Device] again

  5. Install/Open the GoPro Quik App on the iPhone

  6. Navigate to the [GoPro] Tab

  7. Tap [Connect a GoPro]

  8. Tap [Connect]

  9. Tap [Pair] when prompted

  10. Name your GoPro or leave as default

  11. Tap [Skip] if prompted to update (*update as needed and not rushed for time)

  12. Tap [I’ll do this later] when prompted for cloud upload

  13. Tap [No thanks]

  14. Tap [Let’s Go]

  15. Close the GoPro Quik app

  16. Plug the USB-C cable into the GoPro and iPhone/iPad (Ensuring all connection points are securely connected on the Glambot® as well)

  17. The Screen on the GoPro should display [USB Connected]

  18. Open Snappic and select your event
