The /documents page is a protected route in GleanMark. You must be signed in to access it. The page is scoped to a single client and requires a clientId query parameter — for example, /documents?clientId=.... If you open the page without a clientId, it displays a “No Client Selected” message with a Back to Clients button.
The page header shows the client name and a file count, with a Back to {clientName} button that returns you to the client detail page.
Trademark Detail Page Tabs
GleanMark also has trademark detail pages at /trademark/:id. From the evidence provided, those detail pages are separate from /documents.
The current evidence does not support the tab names, tab behavior, or collaboration features described in the previous version of this article, so those details have been removed.
Adding Notes
The current evidence provided does not confirm a notes feature on /documents or on trademark detail pages.
Uploading Documents
The /documents page lets you upload, download, and delete files for the selected client.
To upload a file, select Upload Document in the page header. This opens a file picker; after you choose a file, an upload dialog appears with the following fields:
Document Name — defaults to the file name and can be edited.
Description (optional) — a brief note about the document.
Select Upload to confirm, or Cancel to dismiss the dialog without uploading.
Uploaded files appear in a list below the header. Each entry shows the file name, file size, upload time, and description (if one was provided). Each entry has Download and Delete buttons. Deleting a document asks for confirmation before removing it.
When the list is empty, the page shows a “No Documents Yet” state with the text “Upload documents to share with your team.” and an Upload Your First Document button.
Generated Documents
When the documents engine is enabled for your firm, the /documents page also shows a Generated documents section. This section lists client letters drafted from the docket. Each entry shows the document title, a type badge, the serial number, and the current version. Selecting an entry opens the letter at its latest version at /correspondence/:id.
The type badges correspond to these document types:
Deadline reminder
Office Action reporting letter
Watch-hit advisory
This section only appears when the engine is enabled and there are generated documents for the selected client.
Tips
Use /documents when you need the documents workspace in the app.
