Analysis Hub: Review Your Trademark Analysis Reports and History

Written by Howard Katzenberg

The Analysis Hub is a signed-in page at /analysis.

What You Can Do

  • Review AI-powered trademark analysis reports and history in one place

  • Browse six tabs: Prosecution Summaries, TTAB Summaries, Knockout Searches, Clearance Reports, Strategy Lab, and OA Drafts

  • Search, sort, view, and manage past analyses within each tab

  • Start a new analysis or navigate to a dedicated tool from the top-right button

How It Works

  1. Go to the Analysis Hub — Open /analysis after signing in. The page header reads “Analysis” with the subtitle “AI-powered trademark analysis reports and history.”

Tabs

The Analysis Hub organizes your work into six tabs, shown in this order:

Prosecution Summaries

AI summaries of USPTO prosecution history. The table columns are Serial #, Mark, Status, Owner, Status Description, Status Date, Updated, and Actions. The search box placeholder reads “Search by serial number, owner, mark, status…” Sortable columns show an arrow indicator; click a header to toggle ascending or descending order. Status badges include Registered, Abandoned, Refused, Cancelled, Office Action, Published, Pending, and Unknown. Row backgrounds reflect the status. The View action opens the summary at /prosecution-summary/:id. The trash icon deletes a summary or, for example items, dismisses it from your view. When the list is empty, the tab instructs you to visit a trademark detail page and click “Summarize Prosecution History.”

TTAB Summaries

AI summaries of TTAB proceedings. The table columns are Proceeding #, Plaintiff, Defendant, Type, Status, Updated, and Actions. The search box placeholder reads “Search by proceeding number, party name, mark…” Type badges include Opposition, Cancellation, and Extension. The View action opens the summary at /ttab-summary/:id. When the list is empty, the tab instructs you to visit a TTAB proceeding detail page and click “Summarize Proceeding.”

Knockout Searches

Your knockout search history. The table columns are Mark, Classes, Verdict, Results, Date, and Actions. The search box placeholder reads “Filter by mark name…” Verdict badges include Critical, Review, and No Significant Conflicts. Clicking a row navigates to /knockout/:searchId. Per-row actions include View, Share, and Delete. When the list is empty, the tab prompts you to run your first search.

Clearance Reports

Your clearance report history. The table columns are Mark, Classes, Verdict, Results, Date, and Actions. The search box placeholder reads “Filter by mark name…” Verdict badges include High Risk, Review, and No Significant Conflicts. Clicking a row navigates to /clearance?search=:id. Per-row actions include View, Share, and Delete. When the list is empty, the tab links to the Clearance page.

Strategy Lab

Your office action strategy analyses. The table columns are Marks, Cases, Filters, Status, Summary, Updated, and Actions. The search box placeholder reads “Search by mark, serial, or summary…” Status badges include Complete, Processing, and Failed. The View action opens the analysis at /oa-strategy/:id. The Share and Delete actions appear for completed analyses. When the list is empty, the tab links to the OA Search page.

OA Drafts

Your office action response draft history. The table columns are Mark, Serial #, Refusal Types, Status, Updated, and Actions. The search box placeholder reads “Search by mark, serial, or refusal type…” Status badges include Completed, Generating, Pending, and Failed. Refusal type badges include §2(d), Descriptive, Misdescriptive, Geographic, Surname, Functional, Specimen, Disclaimer, ID, and Ornamental. The View action opens the draft at /drafts/:id. Per-row actions include View, Share, and Delete. When the list is empty, the tab explains that you can generate a draft from any trademark’s prosecution page.

Example Items

In the Prosecution Summaries, TTAB Summaries, and Strategy Lab tabs, example items appear with an “Example” badge. Dismissing an example hides it from your history; other users will still see it.

Top-Right Action Button

The button in the top-right corner changes depending on the active tab:

  • Prosecution Summaries and TTAB Summaries — a New Analysis button opens the New Analysis modal

  • Knockout Searches — a New Search button navigates to /knockout

  • Clearance Reports — a New Clearance Report button navigates to /clearance

  • Strategy Lab — a New Strategy Analysis button navigates to /oa-research

  • OA Drafts — a New OA Draft button navigates to /draft-response

New Analysis Modal

The New Analysis modal has five tabs: TTAB, Prosecution, Clearance, Research OA, and Draft OA. The modal title changes based on the selected tab:

Tab

Modal Title

TTAB

New TTAB Proceeding Analysis

Prosecution

New USPTO Prosecution Analysis

Clearance

New Brand Clearance

Research OA

Research Office Action

Draft OA

Draft Office Action Response

When opened from the Prosecution Summaries or TTAB Summaries tab, the modal defaults to that tab’s analysis type. When opened from any other tab, the modal defaults to Prosecution.

URL Tabs

The ?tab= query parameter controls which tab is active. Valid values are:

  • prosecution

  • ttab

  • knockout

  • clearance

  • oa-strategy

  • oa-drafts

The default tab is prosecution. Unknown or retired ?tab= values (for example, an old ?tab=confusion bookmark) fall back to the default tab rather than rendering an empty panel.

Prefilled New Analysis

URL parameters can prefill and auto-open the New Analysis modal:

  • ?proceeding= or ?proceedingNumber= — prefill a TTAB proceeding number

  • ?serial= or ?serialNumber= — prefill a prosecution serial number

A valid value must be a 7- or 8-digit number. When a valid parameter is present, the modal opens automatically with the field prefilled.

Access

The Analysis Hub is a protected route at /analysis. Free users see an upsell overlay with a blurred preview of the tabs and a prompt to upgrade. Paid subscribers, system developers, and users with promo access can use all Analysis Hub features.

Tips

  • Open /analysis after signing in

  • Bookmark a specific tab using its ?tab= value

  • Use ?serial= or ?proceeding= to jump straight into a prefilled analysis
