Portfolio Inbox (/inbox) is where you triage newly detected USPTO trademark filings tied to your correspondent records. GleanMark checks the USPTO daily for new filings under your correspondent records — you, or attorneys clustered with you. When a filing appears that isn’t already in your portfolios, it lands here so you can route it to a client and portfolio, or dismiss it.
What You Can Do
Review newly detected USPTO filings tied to your correspondent records
Open a filing’s detail page from its mark name
Route a filing to an existing client or create a new client for it
Add a filing to a client portfolio, a firm bucket, or both
Approve the routing to add the mark to your portfolios
Dismiss a filing, or mark it Not mine (with the option to suppress that correspondent)
Undo a dismissal
Toggle Show dismissed to include dismissed items
Expand a filing to see when it was detected, the correspondent, and the recommendation type
How It Works
Open Portfolio Inbox — Go to
/inboxReview new items — When filings are waiting, they appear under a heading like 1 new filing to review or X new filings to review
Triage each filing — On each row, choose a client, pick portfolio destinations, and approve — or dismiss it
Show dismissed items if needed — Turn on Show dismissed to see the Dismissed section
What Appears in the Inbox
Portfolio Inbox shows filings detected under your correspondent records — you, or attorneys clustered with you — when those filings are not already in your portfolios.
The page separates items into two groups:
Section | What It Shows |
new filings to review | Actionable filings with a state of |
Dismissed | Filings with a state of |
Triaging a Filing
Each filing is a row with the mark front and center. The mark name links to its detail page (/trademark/uspto-[serial_number]), and the row shows the mark’s status, owner, Nice class, filing date, and serial number. A filing waiting on a destination is flagged with a Needs destination badge.
Each row presents the decisions to make:
Client
Choose how to route the filing:
Add to existing client — Shown when there’s a matching client; routes the filing to that client
Create new client — Creates a new client. The name pre-fills from the filing’s owner, and you can rename it before approving.
Add to Portfolios
Pick one or both destinations:
Client portfolio — Adds the mark to that client’s portfolio (created if it doesn’t exist yet)
Firm bucket — Adds the mark to a firm-level bucket. The bucket is chosen automatically based on the mark’s status: Registered (All), Pending Prosecution (All), or Dormant (All).
Actions
Approve actions — Applies your selections and adds the mark to the chosen portfolios. This button is disabled until at least one destination is selected; hover it to preview exactly what will happen.
Dismiss — Removes the filing from your review list. A confirmation appears with an Undo option.
Not mine — Dismisses the filing as not yours. The confirmation offers Undo, and a Suppress option to stop surfacing filings from that correspondent.
Expand a row using the chevron to see when the filing was detected, the correspondent it came from, and the recommendation type.
