Sometimes a ministry may let you know that a connection wasn’t the right fit. That’s completely normal! It doesn’t mean your skills aren’t valuable—it simply means God is still preparing the right match. 🌱

Here are a few ways you can set yourself up for the best possible connections:

✝️ Highlight your passion, skills, and experience:

Make sure your profile reflects your passion for sharing the Gospel, as well as your skills and experience. Ministries love to see both your heart and your expertise.

💼 Share your professional background:

Consider providing your LinkedIn Profile or any other social media url that highlights your experience. You can add these links at the bottom of your profile. This helps ministries quickly see your unique qualifications.

👋 Write a warm introduction:

When you send your first message, include both your interest in the role and a few highlights of your relevant qualifications. A thoughtful "hello" goes a long way toward building trust.

⏰ Respond promptly:

Timely communication shows ministries you are ready and available to serve. The quicker you respond, the smoother the connection will feel.

✨ And remember, even with your best efforts, ministries may have multiple applicants or other solutions. That's okay. Your role is to faithfully offer your skills and experience and trust God with the rest.

Stay encouraged—keep stepping forward in faith, trusting that God is already at work through these ministries. The right opportunity is out there, and when the match is made, your impact will be multiplied for the Kingdom!
