Who is eligible to serve as an Everyday Believer

Switchboard provides opportunities for everyday Believers (EB) who want to serve the Great Commission. However, we have certain eligibility criteria that all potential everyday Believers must meet before they can join our platform.

First and foremost, all everyday Believers must be 18 years of age or older. This age requirement ensures that EBs have the maturity and experience necessary to handle the responsibilities and challenges that come with volunteering. We strongly suggest that youth who are passionate about serving talk with their local pastors about ways they can get involved locally or through their church's ministry partners.

Additionally, everyday Believers must affirm our statement of faith, which outlines our Christian core beliefs. This requirement is important because we want to ensure that our volunteers share our vision to serve the Great Commission and are aligned on the essentials of the Christian faith.

Finally, everyday Believers must agree to abide by our Everyday Believer Commitment. This commitment outlines our expectations of Believers, such as respecting the complexity of cross-cultural ministry and working effectively as a humble collaborator with our Gospel workers.
