What's new in Switchboard?

Sharing opportunities on Switchboard has never been easier

Today, we are launching a new feature which gives you the power to take the virtual roles you've created on Switchboard and share them with your community.

Previously, only volunteers who had complete profiles on Switchboard could discover opportunities to serve. Now, you can send opportunities to people who have never even heard of Switchboard so they can explore ways they can be more involved as a virtual volunteer with you and your team.

We see how you already are engaging local believers and supporters around the world on social media, email newsletters, and more. Now, you can showcase opportunities for them to serve with you.

Other bits and pieces

  • We've pushed through a comprehensive fix to how we handle photos throughout Switchboard. You should see improved performance and less artifact-ing of images, especially for large file sizes

  • We've also added some tracking tools to help us ensure we provide great experiences for believers flooding to Switchboard from social media platforms.
