Using Deep Search in Globus is straightforward. The feature is available on the Candidates page in Globus. Here’s a step-by-step guide to perform a Deep Search and make the most of its capabilities.
Navigate to the Candidates menu in Globus and click "All candidates" (if you want to search a specific group you can also used the filter before searching or start from a specific segment)
Add the position, job description or profile you would like to search for in the search field. The more details the better. After adding the details you have three options:
Quick search - lets you quickly check the entire database for matching candidates, uses a simpler model. Does not limit the number of matches and will score and sort the top 500 candidates. Great to answer the question: "Do we have anyone at all for this positions?"
Deep search - a more detailed model that does a deeper evaluation of each candidate based on the details in the description. Will also evaluate based on both mandatory and optional fields. Will score and sort the top 500 candidates. Search takes up to a few minutes to perform all evaluations.
Deep search with Shortlisting - the same detailed model, but will create a shortlist of candidates with a maximum of 150 candidates. More strict in excluding non-relevant candidates based on mandatory requirements. Search takes up to a few minutes to perform all evaluations.
In the example below, we have used the Deep Search with Shortlisting option. And got 17 candidates added to the shortlist. The search is also added as a new session in the top left menu. In the menu you can rename, pin and delete you session. To start an additional search session, click the "+" next to session list.
To verify how the model structured the search, click "Refine search requirements". Here you will see the structure used to search the candidate base. Click edit to rearrange the mandatory and optional requirements. After making changes, click the "Deep search"-button again.
Click on a candidate to review the evaluation by the model.When clicking a candidate, the side-bar will appear showing the profile summary, link to the profile in your ATS and a general evaluation of the candidate. Scrolling down, you will also find that each mandatory and optional requirement is evaluated one-by-one. If you after looking through the evaluation you want to remove the candidate from the short-list you can click the thumbs-down and it will be removed from the list.
After evaluating the candidates in the shortlist you can either create a campaign and send to all the candidates in the shortlist, or send a personal message to selected candidates.
To send a campaign, select all candidates in the list and click "Create campaign". This will take you to the campaign manager where you can customize you email or sms campaign. More information can be found here.
You can also add a tag to the candidates or send a preference request.
If you want to contact individual candidates directly by email, Globus can create a personalized message that can be used per candidates. Click the "Generate personal message"- button and the model will create a combined personal message based on the candidate profile and the search requirements.
