How to configure emails for Globus

To utilize the parsing of emails to generate orders, the emails need to be available for Globus to access. Globus will create a parsing mailbox that you need to forward emails to. Follow the steps below:

Setup email redirect to your specific Globus pulling mailbox (e.g. tenant_name@globus.ai). You should have received the details for what address to use from your Customer Success rep.

  1. Microsoft O365

    1. Access Exchange Online admin (admin.exchange.microsoft.com) of your organization, then find the mailbox (where you receive the orders) that you would like to forward emails from.

      1. Go to Mailboxes->Your mailbox to forward FROM → Mailbox → Email forwarding

      2. Turn forwarding on, then select ‘Forward to external email address’, then add the email address you received from your Customer Success rep. You can select ‘Deliver message to both’ to keep a version of the emails in your mailbox after forwarding. Then click ‘Save’

After setting up email redirect, its good practice to monitor the forwarding in the ‘Message trace’ section of the admin panel of Exchange Online:
