Globus allows you to get updates directly from your candidates on their upcoming availability. Send a request directly by email or SMS and any updates they make will be reflected on the candidate page.

Request availability

Use the request availability functionality to always be up to date on your candidate(s) availability so you can be prepared for upcoming job requests.

  1. On the main page, click on the candidates tab.

  2. Select the candidates you'd like an update from and select request availability. You can also use filters or search for specific candidates.

  3. A new pop-up window will appear so you can edit the text and choose if the availability should be sent by email and/or SMS. A web link will be automatically added to your message when sending for your candidates to open.

  4. Choose the time period you'd like to get candidates availability for.

  5. Click ‘Request’ and the email/SMS will be sent to the candidate.

  6. They can choose specific time frames such as early or night, these labels can be customised to your account.

Candidate view

  1. The candidates will receive a link to click on by SMS or email.

  2. When the candidate clicks on the link, a new window in the browser will be opened.

  3. The candidate can filter on different days, reject all shifts or manually choose availability and click accept.

  4. When a candidate replies, the calendar will change background colour based on the candidates reported availability.

Manually update candidate availability

Each candidate has a calendar icon next to their name so you can manually update their detailed availability, allowing for greater flexibility when requesting availability.

Remember you can also mark when a candidate is unavailable to work, unavailability can only be managed in full day slots rather than specific time slots. Take requests via phone and support candidates who need extra help updating their own schedule.
