As the holiday season approaches, we wanted to take a moment to thank you for your continued cooperation and valuable feedback throughout the year.
Globus would be nothing without you.

In 2022, we have finally seen the pandemic ease, but at the beginning of the year, we saw the start of the war in Ukraine which has deeply affected all of us. Navigating these challenging times with a looming recession and the increased costs of living makes our mission of supporting you in helping more people into jobs and getting a sustainable income even more meaningful and important.

We are thrilled to welcome so many new users in 2022. We have seen a significant increase in our user base. In addition, we have successfully expanded into new markets, and have welcomed a host of fantastic new colleagues to our team. These developments have allowed us to continue growing and providing top-notch products and services to our customers. We are excited to see what the future holds and are committed to continuing our success in the coming years. More than one hundred improvements have been released so far in 2022, and we anticipate an even higher speed of innovation in 2023.

So far in 2022, all of you have managed the following using Globus:

Some highlights from the wide range of improvements to Globus in 2022:

  • Candidate engagement module, including "Multi-send campaigns" - allowing you to create campaigns and send multiple orders to one or many candidates.

  • In-app viewing module with live integration with Outlook inbox, and side-by-side view.

  • Personalisation of messages and communication, including "Soft-request" module and building parameterisation into messaging (including names of recipients, sender, etc)

  • Reverse matching improvements allow you to quickly find the most relevant job opportunities when a candidate calls or ask for new opportunities, without needing to scroll through your email inbox

  • Improved insights – improved structure, filtering, and general usability.

  • Auto archiving of orders – if all the shifts in the order are registered we’ll archive the order automatically.

  • Availability improvements and automatic availability reminders – Several improvements to availability have been added; external job imports, detailed availability slots, and auto reminders.

  • Recommender improvements, including distance matching – the distance between the customer location and where the candidate is living can now be utilised in matching.

  • Email notifications on candidates or customer accept – we will let you know by email as soon as a candidate has accepted a shift or a customer has accepted a candidate.

  • User-specific quick filters on order- and candidates-page – you can now save the filters you keep reusing for both orders and candidates.

  • Overlap and conflict improvements – we have made improvements to the conflict checking so we avoid double booking.

  • Revert actions for shifts – if something changes, revert the shifts and reassign them to someone else.

All of the visible updates from 2022 with more details can be found here.

We are excited about 2023 as we are working on a major upgrade to Globus. We will share more details next year, but below is a sneak peek:

On behalf of the entire Globus team, I would like to wish you a merry Christmas, happy holidays, and a happy new year!
