You have invested your time in mapping out your process and when trying to save it this shows up:

But do not worry, it is not a big deal! There are two quick solutions. As the message suggests, you either have:

  1. Activities that do have a name

  2. Some activities are placed outside of the swimlane

To resolve the first scenario, you simply give all your activities names.

Activities are placed outside of the swimlane

Gluu process maps can't read elements that are overlapping each other. If two activities are overlapping, it is very easily noticeable. However, the most common issue with see is a text element on top of an activity box. Let me give you an example.

I created this process map. It looks completely alright and when I try to save it I can't.

However, if I click on the text element I can see that the text box is overlapping one of my activities. If I make the box smaller or move it further down, I will be able to save my process map.

Pro tip: If you move your activity or other elements on the swimlane and the outline of the swimlane turns orange, you are sure that this element is placed correctly on the swimlane. If you don't see the orange outline, make sure to adjust the position or the size.
